1. Introduction

These Tournament Terms & Conditions apply to users registering for Kryos Gaming tournaments, events, collaborations, community activities, and related services through the website.

By registering for a KRYG tournament or event, submitting your details, or completing payment where applicable, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Organizer

KRYG / Kryos Gaming is the tournament and community organizer. Tournament operations, registrations, communications, brackets, disputes, and event decisions are managed by Kryos Gaming or its authorized admins.

For questions about registrations, payments, refunds, or tournament rules, contact business@kryosgaming.com.

3. Tournament-Specific Terms

Each KRYG tournament may have its own format, entry requirements, entry fee, prize pool, schedule, match rules, and tournament-specific conditions.

The details listed on the individual tournament page will apply to that specific tournament. By registering for a tournament, participants agree to both these Terms & Conditions and the specific rules listed for that tournament.

4. Tournament Rules Priority

If a specific tournament page includes additional rules or conditions, those tournament-specific rules will apply to that tournament.

If there is a conflict between these general Terms & Conditions and the rules listed for a specific tournament, the tournament-specific rules will apply for that tournament.

5. Tournament Registration

By registering for a Kryos Gaming tournament, the team captain confirms that all information submitted is accurate and complete. Registrations are subject to eligibility, slot availability, and organizer approval.

A team registration is considered complete only after all required details are submitted and payment, if applicable, is successfully completed and verified. Incomplete, duplicate, false, or misleading registrations may be rejected, waitlisted, or removed.

Kryos Gaming may request additional verification from teams or players if needed.

6. Team Eligibility

Each team must provide the required player details during registration. Teams are responsible for ensuring that all listed players are available for the tournament schedule.

Players must use their own valid game accounts unless otherwise stated. Player substitutions may be allowed only at the discretion of Kryos Gaming.

7. Pre-Registration and Slot Confirmation

Submitting the registration form does not automatically confirm a tournament slot. Teams may first be marked as pre-registered, payment pending, waitlisted, or another status decided by Kryos Gaming.

A slot is confirmed only after Kryos Gaming verifies the required details, confirms payment completion where applicable, and updates the team status as confirmed.

8. Entry Fees & Payment Terms

Some KRYG tournaments may be free to enter, while others may require an entry fee. The applicable entry fee, if any, will be clearly listed on the individual tournament page before registration.

If a tournament is listed as free to enter, no entry fee is required. If a tournament requires payment, registration will only be considered complete after the required payment is successfully completed and verified.

Entry fees are tournament-specific. Payment terms apply only where a tournament lists an entry fee.

Failed, cancelled, pending, or unverified payments will not confirm registration for paid tournaments.

Refund or cancellation conditions, if any, will apply as listed on the tournament page or as communicated by KRYG.

Free tournaments remain subject to registration confirmation, slot availability, and tournament rules.

9. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Entry fees are generally non-refundable once registration is confirmed, unless Kryos Gaming cancels the tournament or decides otherwise.

If a tournament is cancelled by Kryos Gaming, eligible teams may receive a refund or alternate arrangement as communicated by Kryos Gaming.

If a team withdraws, fails to appear, is disqualified, or forfeits, the entry fee may not be refunded. Refund timelines, if applicable, may depend on the payment provider or bank.

Kryos Gaming reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

10. No Public Display of Private Information

Private information such as phone numbers, email addresses, payment details, Discord IDs, payment references, and admin notes will not be intentionally displayed publicly.

Public pages may show team names, match schedules, brackets, scores, winners, results, and tournament content needed for event operations.

11. Tournament Format and Brackets

Tournament format, seeding, bracket generation, match schedule, and match rules will be decided by Kryos Gaming. Only confirmed teams will be added to the bracket.

Kryos Gaming may modify the format, schedule, bracket, prize structure, rules, or operational details if required for admin, technical, operational, or unavoidable reasons.

12. Tournament Rules and Match Conduct

Teams must follow the tournament format, schedule, reporting instructions, lobby instructions, communication requirements, and match rules communicated by Kryos Gaming.

Teams must be available at their scheduled match time and must join required lobbies, Discord channels, or communication channels on time when instructed.

Team names, player names, in-game IDs, Discord IDs, and public-facing names must not include profanity, slurs, hate speech, abusive language, discriminatory references, sexual content, or offensive terms. KRYG may require names to be changed or may reject/remove registrations that violate this rule.

Cheating, hacking, scripting, exploiting bugs, account sharing, smurfing, impersonation, match-fixing, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification.

Toxicity, harassment, hate speech, threats, abuse, discriminatory behavior, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.

In case of a forfeit, the team that progresses will be awarded a 13-0 scoreline unless KRYG announces a different ruling for that specific match or tournament.

13. Pauses & Technical Difficulties

Each team is allowed a maximum of 1 minute pause per game for genuine technical difficulties.

Pauses may only be used between rounds.

The game must not be paused in the middle of an active round.

Players/teams may not touch, extend, restart, abuse, or manipulate the pause timer after their permitted pause has been used.

Any unauthorized pause, misuse of the pause timer, or pausing during an active round may result in an automatic forfeit.

If a team forfeits due to pause misuse, the opposing team will be awarded a 13-0 scoreline.

Any unauthorized use or misuse of the pause timer may result in a forfeit, and the score will be automatically recorded as 13-0 in favor of the opposing team.

14. Scheduling and Availability

Teams may be asked to submit preferred match timings during registration. Kryos Gaming may use these preferences to schedule matches but cannot guarantee every preferred time.

Teams are responsible for checking the bracket, schedule, and official communication channels, and for being available for their assigned match.

Kryos Gaming may reschedule matches if needed due to admin availability, technical issues, operational requirements, or tournament reasons.

15. Match Reporting and Disputes

All official tournament matches will have a KRYG tournament moderator overseeing the match. Match results will be recorded or verified by the tournament moderator. KRYG may still request or review screenshots, VODs, match history, lobby details, Discord logs, or other available evidence if required for disputes, verification, or rule enforcement.

Disputes must be raised within the timeframe communicated by Kryos Gaming. Kryos Gaming may review available evidence before making a ruling.

Kryos Gaming's admin or referee decisions on match disputes, forfeits, results, disqualifications, and tournament operations will be final and binding unless a specific appeal process is announced.

16. Communication

Tournament-related communication may be sent through WhatsApp, email, Discord, phone, Instagram, the website, or other official Kryos Gaming communication channels.

The team captain is responsible for staying updated and communicating tournament details to their team.

17. Disqualification

Kryos Gaming reserves the right to disqualify any team or player for rule violations, misconduct, cheating, false information, missed matches, abusive behavior, or actions that harm the tournament or Kryos Gaming brand.

Prizes may be withheld if cheating, false details, rule violations, eligibility issues, or misconduct are found.

18. Prizes

Prize details, if applicable, will be communicated by Kryos Gaming. Prize distribution is subject to winner verification, eligibility checks, sponsor conditions, tax requirements, and completion of the tournament.

Kryos Gaming may request required details from winners for prize processing. Prize timelines may vary based on verification and operational requirements.

19. Media, Content and Promotion

By participating, players and teams allow Kryos Gaming to use team names, player names, gameplay clips, screenshots, photos, videos, match results, team-submitted logos, and related tournament content for promotional, social media, recap, marketing, and community purposes.

This does not mean Kryos Gaming owns player-created content beyond reasonable tournament promotion rights. Sensitive personal information will not be intentionally published without consent.

20. Data Usage and Privacy

Information submitted during registration may be used for tournament administration, payment verification, team communication, match scheduling, support, event updates, and future Kryos Gaming event communication.

Kryos Gaming will not intentionally sell or publicly expose private participant contact details. Please review the Privacy Policy for more information.

21. Technical Issues

Players are responsible for their own internet connection, PC, console or device, power supply, game client, software updates, and account readiness unless otherwise stated.

Kryos Gaming is not responsible for individual player technical issues. Kryos Gaming may pause, restart, reschedule, or rule on matches affected by technical issues at its discretion.

22. KRYG 2v2 Skirmish Rules

KRYG 2v2 Skirmish is a free-to-enter competitive duo tournament. This section applies specifically to KRYG 2v2 Skirmish and controls where it differs from the general tournament rules.

Each team must consist of 2 players. Teams will compete against each other in a single elimination bracket format, with each match played until one team reaches 10 rounds.

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. A team's slot is not guaranteed until the registration has been successfully submitted and confirmed by KRYG. KRYG may close registrations once the maximum number of slots has been filled.

Each team must register with 2 players. Teams must provide accurate details during registration, including player names, in-game IDs, contact details, and preferred match timings if requested. Players may not register for more than one team unless KRYG gives specific approval. False, duplicate, or misleading registrations may result in the team being removed from the tournament.

The tournament will follow a single elimination bracket format. Once a team loses a match, they will be eliminated from the tournament. Each registered duo will be treated as one team or entry in the bracket. KRYG reserves the right to make operational adjustments if required, but the tournament format will remain single elimination unless otherwise officially announced.

Prize distribution is subject to winner verification and completion of any required details requested by KRYG. KRYG may withhold prizes if cheating, false details, rule violations, impersonation, or eligibility issues are found.

All match timings and scheduling will be managed through the brackets page on the Kryos Gaming website. Teams are responsible for checking the brackets page regularly for their match time, opponent, and schedule updates. Teams must be available at their assigned match time as shown on the Kryos Gaming website. KRYG may update, adjust, or reschedule match timings through the brackets page due to admin, technical, operational, or tournament-related reasons.

Teams must be ready before their scheduled match time. Players must join the required lobby, Discord channel, voice channel, or communication platform as instructed by KRYG. Teams that do not check in on time may receive a warning, penalty, or forfeit depending on the situation and moderator decision.

All official tournament matches will have a KRYG tournament moderator overseeing the match. The moderator will help verify match setup, monitor match flow, record or confirm results, and handle disputes or rule enforcement where required. KRYG may review screenshots, VODs, match history, lobby details, Discord logs, moderator observations, or other available evidence if needed.

Scoring: Each match will be played until one team reaches 10 rounds. The first team to reach 10 rounds wins the match. Valid score examples include 10-0, 10-3, 10-6, and 10-9.

If a match is forfeited, the team that progresses will be awarded a 10-0 scoreline for this 2v2 Skirmish tournament, unless KRYG announces a different ruling for that specific match or situation.

23. Limitation of Liability

Kryos Gaming will try to run tournaments fairly and professionally, but will not be responsible for indirect losses, technical failures, payment provider issues, internet outages, game server issues, player unavailability, or third-party platform issues beyond its reasonable control.

24. Third-Party Disclaimer

KRYG is an independent community/esports brand. KRYG is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with Riot Games or VALORANT unless explicitly stated for a specific event.

25. Final Decision

All decisions made by Kryos Gaming admins regarding registrations, brackets, disputes, match results, disqualifications, refunds, prizes, and tournament operations shall be final.
